But the Devils were buzzing in the third, with Nathan Legare putting them forever with a good individual play, removing the album of the first general selection of Matthew Schaffer on the blue line, then keeping a strong stick crossing Ethan Bear and tearing a past house to Sorokin at 8:44. Welcome to the League, Matthew!
Just a few minutes later, at 12:21, Gritsyuk intercepted a wandering album at the top of the area, he approached a getaway, burying a second chance in Sorokin, after his first shot was stopped. Credit to Casey for his second assistance of the game while receiving a big blow of Forecheck to move the album in Cotter zone.
The islands responded with remaining 16:50, since Angus Crookshank could not clarify it, leaving it for Schaefer who shot a deep pass to Duclair, who turned and touched him on Malek. Angus quickly compensated for his transgressions buying the empty netter to seal the game for the good ones.
Malek looked very good in his real NHL debut, stopping 12 of 13, including a sick glove saved in a cross slotted of a timer and helmet savings in a short lateral attempt. It seemed composed and swallowed. More than him please.
The 4C battle continues between Lammikko, Glendening and Rooney. Glendening seems to be the current leader in the Club House (in my opinion, followed by Lammikko and then Rooney).
Casey is very fun to see.
Edwards continues to have underestimated but solid games. Very Andy Green (H/T DEVILS INSIDERS). That said, Ethan’s propaganda seems aimed at an audience of 1.
Halonen had a hilariously bad change in the second, where he ate it 3 times, including putting a pretzel of cartoon on the blue line. Apart from his goal in the first game, he has not really been doing any favor.
I really liked Legare games last season, a large type of player to have as the first call option.
Pre -season set 4 (and 5?) It is a divided squad at 3pm on Sunday, with a team that goes to Quebec to face Ottawa, and another group stays at home to face the hats.
