New York — An Air Canada plane collided with a Port Authority vehicle after landing at LaGuardia Airport, according to authorities.
The New York Police Department confirmed the collision occurred but was unable to immediately provide additional information.
A New York City Fire Department spokesperson said firefighters responded to reports of a plane colliding with a vehicle on the runway at 11:38 p.m. and no additional information was immediately available.
Federal Aviation Administration National Aerospace System website LaGuardia has been reported to be closed.
Multiple videos taken by bystanders and posted on social media showed the plane with severe damage to its nose.
