Bayern Munich fulfilled its mission in the Champions League after defeating Union Saint-Gilloise 2-0 to secure its qualification for the round of 16. Today the Bavarians will face FC Augsburg in a repeat of the derby that ended with a 3-2 victory for the recording master.
Bayern seems to have gotten rid of the sadness of the end of 2025 and, knock on wood, has returned to its best level. Augsburg have a huge task for this match: prevent Harry Kane and company from scoring goals. Given that Bayern has already scored more than a century of goals by January, everything will go against Augsburg.
