Another Missouri Tiger has entered the transfer portal. With the departures of Anthony Robinson II and Sebastian Mack, the point guard position has taken another hit.
In what may come as a surprise, TO Barrett plans to enter the transfer portal according to a report from Joe Tipton via On3.
Barrett is coming off a breakout sophomore season with the Tigers after taking over as starting point guard from Anthony Robinson in January. In the middle of conference play, Barrett had a streak of five consecutive games scoring in double figures. In a 73-69 win over Tennessee on February 24, Barrett scored a career-high 28 points.

With Barrett’s departure, Trent Pierce will be the only Missouri starter returning next season. Mizzou is bringing in one of the best recruiting classes in the country, highlighted by Jason Crowe Jr., Toni Bryant and Aidan Chronister, but point guard will now suddenly become a glaringly needed position in the transfer portal this offseason.
