That league has since been absorbed into the NBA with the team that would later become the New York Nets and the New Jersey Nets before settling on the name they are known by today, bringing with them their rich history of players and jerseys to today’s league.

And for today’s article, we’ll continue with the 12th of 15 people to wear jersey number 34, former guard Devin Harris. After finishing his college career at Wisconsin, Harris was selected with the fifth overall pick in the 2004 NBA Draft by the Washington Wizards.
The Milwaukee, Wisconsin, native played parts of the first four seasons of his professional career with the Dallas Mavericks after a draft-night contract. He was later traded to the (then) New Jersey (now Brooklyn) Nets in 2008, and his stay with the team lasted until he was traded once again, this time to the Utah Jazz in 2011.

During his time suiting up for the Nets, Harris wore only jersey number 34 and scored 17.7 points, 3.0 rebounds, 6.9 assists and 1.3 steals per game.
