Now that Cleveland has completed most of its starting offensive line through free agency, it’s time to start looking at some depth options for the team in the 2026 NFL Draft. Although they could sign one or two more players this summer, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Browns select two or three offensive linemen in next month’s draft.
This year’s class is loaded with mid-round potential, and one of the most intriguing players in that range is Texas OG. DJ Campbell.

He has decent size at 6’3″, 313 pounds and 34.5″ arms, and looks like an excellent developmental interior lineman for Cleveland based on his overall skills and how they translate to Todd Monken’s offense.
He’s incredibly physical in the power running game, both spacing and shooting, which is what Cleveland’s offense should utilize more of in the future. Campbell isn’t as explosive, but he makes up for it with a strong upper body and a powerful punch in both phases of the game. He also times his initial punches very well, which comes in handy when trying to block 300+ pound interior defensive linemen.
Campbell is very good in a “phone booth” and is able to consistently move his defender away from the ball when attacked. Having above-average core strength and torque allows him to consistently restart bigger defensive linemen before they can get a good run.

Overall, in a more power run scheme like the Browns should have going forward, DJ Campbell seems like an obvious depth option in Rounds 5 or 6. There’s even a chance he could also be a legitimate convert from offensive guard to center at the next level, which would make even more sense for Cleveland.
