Sanders appears to be the latest professional athlete to have his home broken into during a game. Several NFL players were targeted by thieves last season, including Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce and Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow. The situation reached a point where the NFL issued a warning to players about the series of thefts, followed by the NBA issuing a similar warning.
