Ironically, the 6-foot former Hawkeye point guard last appeared on the ‘New Heights’ podcast for its first broadcast of 2025 on January 1, creating a “full circle” moment for the dynamic women’s basketball icon.

The reveal of Clark’s long-awaited appearance was made through the podcast’s social media presence on Tuesday, December 30.
Clark recently told reporters that she is “almost 100%” recovered from her numerous injuries suffered during the 2025 WNBA season, including a right groin injury that ultimately sidelined her for the year in early September.
During her offseason so far, she participated in The ANNIKA Pro-AM for the second year in a row, appeared in a few Kansas City Chiefs games, trained with Team USA in preparation for the September 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup in Germany, and most recently appeared in Nike’s latest ad promoting its own CC Signature brand.

While there will no doubt be a lot of talk about those off-season activities and much more, fans can tune in to the December 31 edition of ‘New Heights’ through a variety of outlets, including YouTube, Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
The Caitlin Clark edition of the podcast is expected to premiere on those channels at 6 p.m. CT.
