The Detroit Lions looked poised to be a Super Bowl contender at the start of the season, but this team completely lost control after their Week 8 bye. From 5-2 before that bye week to 3-5 afterward, they’re on the brink of elimination in the NFC playoffs. The Minnesota Vikings, on the other hand, have won three straight and will look to play spoilsport.
Kickoff is scheduled for Thursday, December 25, 2025 at 2:30 pm Mile High time at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and will be broadcast on NETFLIX.

my prediction
According to FanDuel, the Lions are 7.5-point road favorites over the Vikings. As I said today for the first game, I hate the big gaps between road teams against a division rival. Those divisional games usually end up being dogfights more often than not, so I would err on the side of caution with this one. The only difference here from the previous game is that the Lions are still in the playoff hunt and in the bubble. They should play with desperation and concentration.
Prediction: Lions 31, Vikings 26.
