Atlanta, Georgia (Atlanta News First) – An explosion was reported at the Georgia Institute of Technology on Friday afternoon, according to the authorities.
Around 1:45 PM, the teams of the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department were called at 901 Atlantic Dr. NW, which houses the Molecular Science and Engineering building, in response to a small laboratory explosion.
According to the school, a person has been transported to the Graduate Memorial Hospital with minor burns injuries, but there is no threat to the campus, according to school.
