One thing that has become clear this season is that Liverpool need to breathe some life into their attack.

Mohamed Salah, Cody Gakpo and even Alexander Isak has underperformed expectations this season which is quite worrying.
Whether it’s a system change or a lack of trust, it’s clear that something needs to change.
And, according to an update from transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, change is almost certainly on the way.
“For Liverpool, I think it will be a very busy summer for the wingers. It’s very clear that Liverpool need to reinforce their wingers, the situation with Mo Salah, Cody Gakpo. I think, in general, Liverpool need to add something new in that position.” he said via his YouTube channel.

“But at the moment, with Michael Olise, the situation is similar to that of Vitinha and Real Madrid. You can appreciate the player, he is one of the best in the world in his position, but Bayern has no intention of letting him go.
“Bayern is very happy with Olise and Bayern doesn’t even want to negotiate.
“Liverpool appreciate Olise, yes, sure, but who doesn’t appreciate Olise? At the moment, that’s the story.
“Bayern are very happy with the boy, there is no termination clause in his contract now, so the situation remains under control for Bayern. I think the realistic objectives for Liverpool will be different.”

Liverpool fans should be excited about the change ahead.
While a lot changed at Anfield last summer, it’s clear there is more on the way.

So the fact that several new faces can still be brought in is an exciting prospect, to say the least.

However, the fact that Romano expects changes to happen has to mean something.
