The Milwaukee Bucks beat the Los Angeles Lakers this Friday. Naturally, it was about Giannis Antetokounmpo doing something big.

With the game tied 101-101 until the final minute, the former MVP made two stops against LeBron James to lead the Bucks’ 105-101 victory. It’s the Lakers’ first single-digit loss of the season.

First, there was a block on the type of layup James normally makes.

Then there was a hit that forced a turnover, allowing the Bucks to put the game out of reach.

Antetokounmpo finished with 21 points, 9 of 11 shooting, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 blocks, 2 steals and 4 turnovers.

It was a frustrating game overall for the Lakers, especially for Luka Dončić, who fouled out for the first time this season. He committed his sixth foul in that final minute by not giving Kevin Porter Jr. space to score a triple. Dončić, of course, was not happy with the call, as were many others.

Dončić also had a very inefficient night, going 8 of 25 for 24 points. He was 4 of 6 on 3-pointers, meaning he shot an uncanny 4 of 19 on 3-pointers. Ten of those failures occurred within the paint.

The loss drops the Lakers’ record to 23-13, fifth place in the Western Conference. They are now 8-8 since December 1st. Meanwhile, the Bucks improved to 17-21.
