Hamburger SV sporting director Stefan Kuntz has addressed recent comments from Daniel Peretz, who expressed frustration at his limited playing time since joining on loan from Bayern Munich and admitted that he is considering ending the loan at the beginning of January.
“I can understand Daniel’s disappointment, especially after Israel’s 0-5 loss to Norway in World Cup qualifying,” Kuntz told Bild.
Despite Peretz’s concerns, HSV’s plans appear to have not changed, with the club intending to retain him for the remainder of the season to compete with Daniel Heuer Fernandes.
“We are very pleased with his performance here,” Kuntz added.
“He is not only a great person, but also an excellent goalkeeper who constantly raises our training to Bundesliga standards.”
