While the 6-foot sophomore from the Dominican Republic has been dealing with a back injury lately, On3’s Talia Goodman reported Thursday night that Rodriguez has been suspended indefinitely for violating team rules.
The source Goodman obtained this breaking news did not specify which rule was violated, but stated that Rodriguez has the opportunity to rejoin the team if he recommits to the standards.

In six games played this season, RodrÃguez has averaged 7.2 points on 42.5% from the field and 80% from the free throw line, in addition to 2.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.2 blocks per game.
This news is also a rapidly developing story, as it follows head coach Jan Jensen’s cryptic response on Tuesday when asked about Rodriguez’s status with the team.
