Jeanine Pirro sued Rye, New York, and utility company Con Edison after she said she tripped on a road hazard while walking.

The board was covering drilling work related to Consolidated Edison’s main gas business, according to an amended complaint filed Wednesday in state court.

The 74-year-old former Fox News host was bedridden, required medical care and “remains in pain and suffering,” according to the filing.
Representatives for Pirro, Con Ed and Rye declined to comment on the pending lawsuit Thursday.
In a motion to dismiss, Ray’s attorney wrote that “it cannot be said that the city was negligent in its duty to pedestrians at a location that was not a crosswalk.” Con Ed’s attorney wrote in a separate lawsuit seeking dismissal that all risks and dangers related to the accident “were open, clear and obvious.”
Perot served as a judge and district attorney for Westchester County.
