After the exciting 3-2 victory over SC Freiburg this afternoon, Vincent Kompany spoke about Bayern Munich’s performance.
“I think we started well. In the first part of the first half we found good spaces, but the last touch was not there.

“But we also have to give credit to the rival, who gave everything in front of their fans. That’s why it was difficult for us.
“That’s part of football. You can’t win every game 3-0 or 4-0 in Champagne football. You have to experience this kind of emotion for a season.
“I’m really happy with the three points because I knew it would be difficult (today against SC Freiburg),” Kompany explained.
Attention must quickly return to European competition for Kompany and Bayern, who will face Real Madrid in the quarter-finals this Tuesday.
