Hamilton replied: “Me too, yeah! All my life I always said, ‘I can’t wait’ and I never ended up driving like me.”

Without understanding, Leclerc asked Hamilton: “Who do you choose then? Do you choose me? I will be honored.”

Hamilton seemed confused because in previous F1 career modes, players often had to create their own driver. However, in the F1 25 driver race, players can also compete using selected existing driver icons instead of just a custom-created racer.

The Briton said: “I drive the car… which I drive, but I don’t,” before being interrupted by Leclerc, who said: “Do you choose your teammate?”

Hamilton replied: “No, he doesn’t have my helmet.” It was at that moment that Leclerc remembered the career mode in previous versions of the F1 game, while Hamilton said:

“When I do it, it’s just the car.”

Leclerc stated: “Yes, that’s true. Because when you make your own career mode, sometimes it’s like you need to create your driver. But I’m in the game and I can’t choose myself. That’s the problem I also had in the past.”

Hamilton added: “Yes, because you’re your own character.”
