Alisson de Liverpool is a doubt to face Manchester United after international rest with Arne Slot confirming that the goalkeeper will not join Brazil this month.
Alisson was injured the hamstrings in the defeat of the Liverpool Champions League in Galatasaray on Tuesday and Giorgi Mamardashvili will make his first Premier League begin in Chelsea on Saturday.
Hugo Ekitike and Federico Chiesa will train before the trip to Stamford Bridge after Knocks, since Liverpool seeks to recover from consecutive defeats for the second time under the slot.
“Alisson is not part of the team tomorrow and will not travel to Brazil for the national team,” Slot said on Friday.
“Hugo (Ekitike) will train again today, let’s see where he is. The same can be said of Federico (Chiesa).”
In Alisson’s recovery, Slot said: “It depends on how fast it goes. It will surprise me if he (Alisson) will be there for the first game after the international break.
“From there, things can go a little faster, a little slower. It’s hard to say it.”
