During the recruiting process, Snow received offers from Boston College, Indiana, Kentucky, Purdue, Texas Tech, Tennessee, SMU and Ohio State. The Indiana native hasn’t scheduled a visit yet, but the Longhorns hope to make the cut when he does. More schools are expected to enter the mix over the coming months as more programs begin to focus on the class of 2029.
While Snow is only a freshman, he has already caught the attention of some of the best teams in the country. The Longhorns have specialized in developing tight ends, which could help their case with Snow. His recent success stories include Gunnar Helm, currently with the Titans, and Jack Endries, projected as a mid-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. If Snow were to commit to Texas, he could follow in their footsteps.Advertisement
While adding Snow would be a boost, he’s not the only class of 2029 player Texas is talking to. They have also made offers to Jairus Ingram and BJ LaFell. Both players have shown a talent for frustrating defensive coordinators.
Over the next few months, Snow will be a player to watch as he weighs his options. The next step for Texas will be to bring him to campus for a visit. If they can do that, Snow will be able to see firsthand what his college career would be like if he started as a Longhorn.
