KPRC anchor Owen Conflenti is leaving the station, according to a post on its website Friday.
Conflenti, the station’s longtime morning news anchor, had worked at the NBC affiliate for 20 years.
“After 20 years, my time at KPRC 2 has come to an end,” Conflenti said in a statement posted to X, formerly Twitter. “I am so grateful to the viewers who welcomed me into their homes every morning, to my coworkers who became family, and to the station for two incredible decades. Thank you, Houston, for the privilege of sharing your stories.”
