The Miami RedHawks remained undefeated after convincingly defeating Central Michigan on Tuesday night.

The RedHawks defeated the Chippewas, 100-61, at Millett Hall.

MU is one of four undefeated teams remaining in men’s college basketball. They are not currently ranked in the top 25 surveys.

Miami improved to 18-0 overall, 6-0 in the Mid-American Conference (MAC).

Brant Byers led five RedHawks in double figures with 24 points. Justin Kirby added 17 while Luke Skaljac added 13. Peter Suder scored 11 points while Antwone Woolfolk had 10.

MU made 32 of 53 shots to finish with a shooting percentage over 60 percent.

It’s the fifth time the RedHawks have scored 100 or more points this season.

Miami’s next game is Saturday, January 17, when they host the Buffalo Bulls at 1 pm at Millett Hall.
