“Tomorrow we face Napoli, who deservedly won the Scudetto last season,” Allegri told journalists through Milannews.
“They had an important transfer window, and I still think they are the favorites of the title. Conte is excellent for the best of the players. In their last 26 games, they won 18 times. In recent years, Milan has always lost at home against Napoli. We hope to cancel those numbers. It will certainly be a great game.
“It’s a great game, the first great game of the season. It will be an important test,” Allegri continued.
“We are in good physical and mental condition, and we have also recovered Leao. The more we work, the more we know ourselves. We have to be aware of the difficulties we will find. We need to play good 100 minutes.”
Allegri replaced Conte as the Juventus coach in the summer of 2014. When asked if he had recently been in contact with his next opponent, Allegri replied: “No, we have not spoken. Conte teams do not give much.
“I have great respect for Antonio; he is a great professional,” Allegri concluded.

“Everyone has their character. Maybe we are as different as we are similar. He has achieved great results in his career, and he is still doing it.”
Allegri and Conte are the most successful A series coaches in recent years, after winning 11 of the last 15 national titles.
Allegri won six Scudetti, one with Milan and five with Juventus, while Conte won three with the old woman, one with Inter and another with Napoli.
