Ryan Helsley and the Baltimore Orioles have reportedly agreed to a two-year deal, according to ESPN’s Jeff Passan.
The deal includes an opt-out clause after the 2026 MLB season. The total value of the contract has not been announced.
Helsley, 31, recorded 21 saves last season between his time with the St. Louis Cardinals and the New York Mets.

All 21 saves, however, came with the Cardinals before he was traded in July to the Mets. In New York, he pitched 20 innings in 22 games in relief with Edwin DÃaz firmly entrenched in the closer role.
Helsley has pitched in seven seasons after being selected in the fifth round of the draft by the Cardinals in 2015 out of Northeastern State.
