Myriad exceeds $ 10 million in USDC operations with 500k prediction market users

The prediction market protocol, Myriad has crossed $ 10 million in USDC negotiation volume and attracted more than 500,000 users, marking a milestone in its impulse to make information an asset negotiable within decentralized finances.

“Myriad is building the rails for prediction markets to go beyond the use of niche and become a central segment of Defi,” said Loxley Fernandes, co -founder and CEO of the protocol. He described the growth of the platform as proof that converting speculation into structured and merchant products is a next natural step for financial markets.

Draden, Dastan, Matrix Company of Decrypt and Rug Radio, Myriad opened the USDC markets at the beginning of this year. In July, it expanded to the Ethereum Layer-2 line, advancing its evolution in a multichein protocol designed to feed new forms of products defi based on predictions.

Until now, countless users have installed the extension of the platform browser more than 60,000 times and have placed more than 5.4 million predictions in categories such as sports, politics, culture and cryptography. The markets have covered everything from corporate assessments such as NVIDIA market capitalization to unusual bets, such as bird migration counts over Texas.

Beyond the adoption of the consumer, Myriad is also building a B2B protocol for external applications. Its road map includes integrations with Eigenlayer and Eigencloud, as well as the launch of ERC-PRED, a new Token standard for predictions based on assets.

With some analysts projecting that prediction markets could one day rival the traditional actions on scale, Myriad aims to firmly anchor them within Defi. Fernandes compared the ambition with the impact of Robinhood on the trade of shares: reduce the entry barriers and make the complex instruments accessible with only a few taps.
