March Madness begins with the First Four, and Tuesday’s final game features a rematch between NC State and Texas.

Will Wade’s Wolfpack (20-13) lost to the Longhorns 102-97 on Nov. 26 at the Southwest Maui Invitational.

Quadir Copeland led NC State with 28 points and six assists. Jordan Pope matched him with 28 points for Texas (18-14), which shot five more free throws and made eight more than the Wolfpack in that matchup.

Statistically, the teams appear similar. NC State averages 83.7 points per game and has outscored its opponents by 7.2 points per game. The Longhorns are averaging 83.8 points per game and outscoring their opponents by 7.0 points per game.

Both teams have had problems down the stretch. The Wolfpack is just 3-7 in their last 10 games, while the Longhorns are 5-5.
