In 2025, he had 42 total tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks. If Davis returned to Nebraska, this would be his third defensive line coach and third defensive coordinator.
The Cornhuskers hired Rob Aldrich to replace John Butler as DC, while head coach Matt Rhule is still searching for a new coach on the injured list. Aldrich is changing Nebraska’s defensive scheme in 2026, moving from 3-3-5 to a 4-2-5.
