Following a 34-26 win over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, the Denver Broncos now sit in third place in Nate Davis’ latest NFL power rankings for USA TODAY Sports. That’s two spots up from fifth place last week.

Here’s Davis’ comment on the Broncos heading into Week 16:

Could the real Bo Nix stand up? But if that was you on Sunday against Green Bay, then the Broncos truly are a legitimate Super Bowl threat.

Elsewhere in the AFC West, the Los Angeles Chargers are 11th, the Kansas City Chiefs are 21st and the Las Vegas Raiders are 32nd (last in the NFL). Denver will face the Chiefs on the road in Week 17 and the Chargers at home in Week 18.

This week, the Broncos will host the No. 8-ranked Jacksonville Jaguars.

Elsewhere in the league, the Los Angeles Rams are ranked No. 1. For complete NFL power rankings through Week 15, visit USATODAY.com.
