Nick Saban knows the signs and the history and knows when Alabama is headed to Auburn for the Iron Bowl. Especially under the Saturday night lights.

On ESPN’s College GameDay, the former Alabama head coach called the matchup a classic “trap game” scenario and leaned fully into the stadium’s troubling reputation.
“I’m scared to go to the haunted house in Alabama,” Saban said. He has publicly called Auburn Stadium “haunted” for years, a belief shaped by some of college football’s most improbable Iron Bowl swings, including the 2013 “Kick Six,” a moment that comes with personal scars.
Saban went 5-4 against Auburn at Jordan-Hare during his tenure, losses that often defied logic.
Alabama comes in at 9-2 and ranked No. 10 nationally, with its College Football Playoff position in jeopardy if it fails. On the other hand, Auburn is one win away from bowl eligibility with its own postseason risks intact after firing Hugh Freeze. A positive side to the rivalry.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC, marking Kalen DeBoer’s first road trip to Auburn.
