Scottish striker Oliver Burke of 1. FC Union Berlin has moved up to second place in the Bundesliga’s top ten fastest players of all time after clocking a speed of 37 km/h (22.99 mph) this weekend. Burke’s speed in Easter Sunday’s 1-1 draw against St. Pauli makes him the first player to be in the top ten in the current 2025/26 Bundesliga campaign.

As noted in a previous Get German football newsThe current Bundesliga season, despite seeing some impressive speed measurements from notoriously fast players like St. Pauli’s Ricky Jade Jones and RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande, has not featured any new entrants into the top ten. Last year, five players totally revolutionized the top ten list.
