Ohio State hit seven home runs to account for its total score, capping a dominant weekend at the plate. Nebraska once again struggled to make offensive plays, managing just five hits on Sunday and finishing the series with 13 total. Ohio State had 11 hits in the finale and had 22 over the weekend.

Rhett Stokes drove in the Huskers’ only run, hitting an RBI single in the seventh. Joshua Overbeek, Drew Grego, Jeter Worthley and Case Sanderson accounted for the remaining four hits.
Cooper Katskee (5-2) took the loss on the mound, starting the game and allowing four hits for five runs in 3.1 innings. Ty Horn pitched the next 2.2 innings and allowed two runs on three hits. J’Shawn Unger, Jalen Worthley, Ryan Harrahill and Colin Nowaczyk pitched less than one inning, combining for 2.0 total.
Nebraska returns home next weekend when it hosts rival Iowa. The first game is scheduled for Friday night at 6 pm CT on Nebraska Public Media.
