The Green Bay Packers coach Matt Lafleur said that Anthony Belton’s right backle was injured his ankle during Wednesday’s practice and will not be available to play when the Packers face the Dallas Cowboys in week 4.
Belton, a second round selection in 2025, played 84 snapshots in the right Tackle in three games and would have been a probable option to start there instead of Zach Tom, who is not expected to play Sunday night in Dallas due to an oblique injury.
Lafleur said that Packers do not believe that Belton ankle injury is a long -term problem, but the final lesions report on Friday will be ruled out, providing another obstacle to staff for an offensive line of Packers.
