Crystal Palace have intensified their search for Oliver Glasner’s successor as his time at Selhurst Park soon comes to an end.

According to Miguel Delaney, Crystal Palace are eyeing Coventry City manager Frank Lampard and Ipswich Town boss Kieran McKenna, shortlisting both men.

Palace have at least six candidates on their shortlist as the club prepares for life after Glasner, who confirmed earlier this year that he will leave at the end of the season.

Initial approaches and background checks on potential replacements have already begun behind the scenes.

Lampard has become an increasingly admired figure in football circles following his impressive work in the Championship.

He guided his team to the championship title and has rebuilt his reputation as a coach after some difficult periods.

While an exit seems unlikely given his club’s momentum, Crystal Palace are among several Premier League teams closely monitoring his situation.

Any attempt to lure him away would likely require Palace to pay compensation of around £5m.

McKenna is also highly regarded at Selhurst Park after continuing to improve his reputation in the Championship.

Pep Guardiola praised him for building a “special” team.

The Northern Irish coach has already attracted interest from Premier League clubs and is considered one of the brightest young coaches in English football.

However, Crystal Palace would face a significant financial hurdle if they pursued the 39-year-old, with compensation for McKenna expected to be in excess of £8million.

Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola had previously been admired by the Eagles, with discussions surrounding his profile dating back to January.

However, the Spaniard is currently considering other opportunities, which have complicated Palace’s chances of landing him.

Managers will be more interested in Palace’s role depending on how Glasner’s team concludes the campaign.

Victory in the Europa Conference League would secure European football next season, giving the club a larger transfer budget ahead of a crucial summer rebuild.
