Tottenham Hotspur entertained Aston Villa at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium today hoping to secure three points at home in the Premier League. The Spurs started the game well and took the lead in the fifth minute thanks to Rodrigo Bentancur’s goal. However, Morgan Rogers tied it for the visitors with a great goal in the 37th minute. Both teams went into the break with a score of 1-1.

Emiliano Buendía scored the winning goal for the Villans in the 77th minute as Thomas Frank’s men suffered a tough 2-1 defeat away from home.
