Mahomes suffered considerable pain and needed help to the locker room. Although he left the field with a towel over his head, he did not need the injury cart. With the Chiefs eliminated from playoff contention after the loss, we’ve likely seen the last of Mahomes for this season.
Mahomes is scheduled to undergo an MRI to determine the full extent of his injury. The hope is that it doesn’t extend into next season.
