The New England Patriots will have linebacker Robert Spillane on the field when they host the Los Angeles Chargers in the wild-card playoff game on Sunday night.

This will be the first time the Patriots will have Spillane, Milton Williams and Harold Landry III on the field together since the team’s Week 11 game against the New York Jets. They’re hoping the defensive trio can boost the run defense and elevate the team’s pass rush.

It will be an uphill battle when he faces a talented Chargers team with Justin Herbert at quarterback. Even with all of the Chargers’ injuries, they have still shown the ability to move the ball down the field effectively. They also have one of the best defenses in the league to help them stay in games.

In addition to the return of Spillane and Landry, the Patriots will also have wide receiver Kayshon Boutte active for the game. So quarterback Drake Maye will have almost all of his weapons at his disposal in his postseason debut.
