However, Campbell quickly put concerns to rest and landed three Class of 2027 commitments last week. With a few top prospects visiting the school this week and more lined up for the remainder of spring practices, the Nittany Lions are expected to land a few more players in the coming weeks.

This development has put schools across the country on notice, and respected recruiting analysts are opening their eyes as well. Brian Dohn of 247sports recently posted a new batch of Crystal Ball predictions, including one that shows Penn State landing four-star cornerback Kei’Shjuan Telfair.
The three commitments the school received in the last week were all cornerbacks, which could be why Dohn believes another will be headed to central Pennsylvania. Telfair is a 6-0 cornerback who has offers from several College Football Playoff teams, including Indiana and Miami, which just competed in the national championship, and Ohio State.
The Nittany Lions are also squarely in the mix for other top 2027 recruits at key skill positions, so landing Telfair would be a big step toward building one of the best recruiting classes in the country for next year.
