Guard Donovan Jackson has looked like a home run pick for the Vikings during the early parts of the season. He was impressive in the first two weeks before an injury hit him and derailed his momentum. He returned in Week 7 after the team’s bye week, and seemed to pick up right where he left off in the weeks that followed.

For additional context on his overall performance in Week 11 where he gutted it, we can turn to Pro Football Focus for that. They rounded up last week’s top players and grades, and Donovan Jackson made the cut for their Week 11 team honors.

PFF’s Jim Wyman compiled PFF’s Team of the Week for the 11th slate of NFL games in the 2025 season. Jackson earned an impressive grade of 73.7 and was among three options for interior offensive lineman.

He writes: “Jackson continues to be a bright spot on the Vikings’ offensive line, particularly in pass protection: Sunday marked his third straight game with that grade over 70.0. Week 11 was Jackson’s best appearance of the group, as he had a PFF pass-blocking grade of 82.9, and only gave up one pressure on 33 pass-blocking snaps.”

Jackson has shown that he can be one of the best players in this rookie class of 2025. The Vikings hit a home run with him, and when he’s healthy and in the lineup, this offense is better as a result.
