Despite the club’s rumored interest, it has always been clear that a transfer is difficult, if not impossible, given the financial needs and broken trust between Real Madrid and PSG.
Vitinha’s idols
In a recent interview with MARCA, the PSG midfielder and winner of the Best Midfielder Award at the recent Globe Soccer Awards was asked about his role models in football.
His response, as expected, featured two of the best players in world football, and one of them was a Real Madrid legend who played for the club until earlier this year.
“Luka Modric and Andrés Iniesta are my idols” said.

His decision to choose the duo shows how much Vitinha values the Spanish league and is a positive sign for Real Madrid in their pursuit.
After all, they can use Modric’s card to convince the player if the need arises.
The big obstacle, however, is the president of PSG, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, who is furious with Real Madrid after the Kylian Mbappé saga and has decided not to negotiate with the whites under any conditions.
So far this season, Vitinha has played 15 games and started 13 times for PSG in Ligue 1.
He has racked up one goal and six assists in that span while averaging 1.4 key passes per game. Additionally, he completes 94% of his passes and 67% of his dribble attempts.
