In 2022, the Dallas Cowboys selected Waletzko in the fifth North Dakota Round, where 10 of 11 games began in their senior season the previous fall. Including seven in the Tackle last season, he has played in games for the cowboys every year since then, making him the third Spartan to play at the NFL after the 2005 graduate Eric Decker and the graduate of 1979 and Johnny Rick Bell. The St. Cloud Tech graduate, Brevyn Spann-Ford, has also played wing closed for Dallas since 2024 and has a reception this season.
Waletzko flew to England from his home in Dallas to join the team and spend a physicist before Sunday’s game, although he did not register any blow against the Browns.
