The Security Council approved a US-backed resolution that will establish an international force to restore order in Gaza, protect civilians and pave the way for large-scale aid and reconstruction. U.S. Ambassador Mike Waltz thanked the ambassadors and called it a “historic and constructive resolution” that charts a new course for the Middle East.
