In an interview with GQ Sports, the Indiana Fever star shared that some of her encounters with fans have been with “creepy old men.”
“What is your most memorable or wildest fan interaction?” GQ Sports asked the WNBA star.
“You’re asking the right person,” Cunningham said with a laugh. “I have a lot of creepy old men, so those would be not-so-good extreme experiences.”
Cunningham didn’t dwell on the strange interactions with the “creepy old men,” but he also shared the fan experiences he enjoys most.
“But the great experiences are all the boys and girls who are so excited and new to the WNBA and want to be like us,” she continued. “Inspiring them is probably the most rewarding thing you can do.”
Cunningham is currently a free agent as the 2026 WNBA is expected to begin on April 8. While it’s unclear if he’ll return to the Indiana Fever, where he was a star guard averaging 8.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.0 steals per game, his off-court roles are also making waves. She will be joining USA Network as a studio analyst and recently starred in the Sports Illustrated Swimmer 2026 campaign.Advertisement

The negotiating period for Cunningham, along with all other free agents, began Wednesday but will not end until Saturday, April 11.
