Dr. Edmund Stoiber, a member of Bayern Munich since 1966, officially bid farewell as Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

The 84-year-old will be honored for his services to the Bavarian giants on Sunday at the Allianz Arena during the club’s honor day.

Together with other long-standing members, who appointed him honorary chairman of the supervisory board, he will hand over his position to Dieter Reiter.

Stoiber has been a member of the board since 1988 and its chairman since 1992. Munich Mayor Reiter has been a member of the supervisory board since 2017.

Jochen Tschunke and Peter Kerspe also said goodbye yesterday, Friday, February 6. Tschunke was a member since 1994, Kerspe since 2018.

Elisabeth Promberger, Dr. Klaus-Peter Röhler, Alexander Sixt and Max Viessmann have been appointed new members of the board of directors.

Meanwhile, Alexandra Schörghuber will remain vice-chairman of the administrative board.
