Leeds United Women return to FA Women’s National League Cup action this afternoon, traveling to Hull City Ladies in the First Round.

The Whites topped Group U with seven points following a 5-2 win at York, a 2-2 draw at Norton & Stockton Ancients and a 1-0 win over Halifax in the opening clash.

Last time out, Leeds recorded a last-gasp 1-0 win against Huddersfield Town Women in the league, while Amy Woodruff’s strike helped claim all three points in the 85th minute to secure bragging rights.

There are two changes to the lineup from that Derby Day win, with Ellie White and Izzy Elliott in the starting lineup.

Carrie Simpson retains her place between the sticks, behind a back four consisting of Alayna Millard, captain Shauna Legge, Izzy Elliott, who makes her first appearance this season, and Darcie Greene, who completes the defence.

White returns to the midfield three, which also consists of Monique Watson and Alice Hughes, and a front three of Drew Greene, Chloe Dixon and Woodruff, winner of last week’s match, finalizes the Leeds XI.

Charlotte Oates is joined on the bench by Kath Smith, Abbie Graham, Paige Williams, Macy Ellis, Emily Cassidy and Sian Gibrill-Keating.

Starting eleven: Simpson (PO), Millard, Legge (C), Elliott, Darcie Greene, Hughes, Watson, White, Drew Greene, Dixon, Woodruff.

Substitutes: Oates (GK), Smith, Graham, Williams, Ellis, Cassidy, Gibrill-Keating.

Peel: Wattam (GK), Hamill, Tanser (C), Ackroyd, Hunt, Tugby-Andrew, Haywood, Foyer, Nicholson, Gatt, Cockerill.

Substitutes: Wallace (goalkeeper), Wilson, Akrill.
