Team USA curler criticizes ICE at Winter Olympics: ‘What’s happening is wrong’

Rich Ruohonen is the oldest athlete on Team USA at the 2026 Winter Olympics. The 54-year-old works as a personal injury attorney in Minnesota in his day job, but he is also one of the most successful figures in his sport as a two-time national champion. Ruohonen used his focus on the Olympics on Tuesday to deliver an important message: What’s happening in his home state of Minnesota right now is not right as federal immigration agents tear up the city to meet deportation quotas.
