The PFA confirmed this week that Amario Cozier-Duberry has received its Fans’ Player of the Month award for October, having scored two goals and assisted two goals in his four games.

That included assisting the decisive goal in Bolton Wanderers’ 2-1 win over Peterborough United, scoring the winning goal away to Huddersfield Town and scoring another winning goal at home to Cardiff City.
With Cozier-Duberry also assisting in the draw against Huddersfield, his goal contributions gave Bolton seven points from the nine they achieved in October.

The 20-year-old doesn’t seem to be slowing down either, having scored two goals and assisted two more in November. A good performance against Jack Wilshere’s Luton Town side next weekend could put the youngster in the running for more monthly awards.

Cozier-Duberry was highly regarded at Arsenal and was often touted as a future alternative to Bukayo Saka in the first team. But that’s not how it turned out, as Cozier-Duberry rejected contract offers from the Gunners and signed for Brighton and Hove Albion.
Brighton quickly loaned the winger to Championship side Blackburn Rovers, but the transition to senior football proved difficult. Cozier-Duberry scored just one goal in 23 games in 2024/25 and assisted none.

Dropping down to League One with Bolton Wanderers this season has been a completely different story, and Cozier-Duberry now has 14 goal contributions in 18 games.
