Everton played a 1-1 draw with West Ham United at the Hill Dickinson stadium while the toffee struggle to capitalize on the bad form of their opponents.
Everton seemed blunt against a resistant west ham that fought bravely for a deserved point.
David Moyes’s side will be disappointed that they cannot secure the three points.
The toffees will also be equally disappointed after midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall collected a fifth yellow letter from the season.
Dewsbury-Hall was judged for having demolished Kyle Walker-Peters and having a yellow, but the Everton man clearly had eyes for the ball.
It was the second contentious yellow card that I had received after collecting a reservation in the Merseyside derby for taking a fast free kick, although there could have been a dissent involved.
Even so, Dewsbury-Hall was clearly discontent because he would lose Sunday’s game against Crystal Palace and hit.
The former Chelsea star and Leicester City said (through Twitter): “Forgive me if I’m wrong, and it could be, but some of these decisions are very difficult to make. Amazing.”
Everton will now have to adjust without Dewsbury-Hall while preparing for what is already being configured to be a crucial clash with the undefeated glass palace.
It will be interesting to see which of Tyler Dibling or Carlos Alcaraz Moyes require them to delegate them to the 27 -year -old.
Signed for a great money, Dibling has fought to get into Merseyside, but could benefit from a more central role.
Meanwhile, Alcaraz, the most stubborn and experienced option is also available.
The toffees must be cautious with the eagles, which are in a notable undefeated 18 games that has seen them claim chasing leathers against Manchester City, Liverpool, Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur.
Palace has also won the FA Cup and community shield during that impressive race. They are hard as nails and a complex puzzle to decipher.
