A prominent Democratic congressman criticized “not serious” FBI Director Kash Patel for scribbling self-help notes during an interrogation of Jeffrey Epstein on Capitol Hill. Patel, a former cigarette entrepreneur, children’s book author and MAGA podcast host, endured two days of questioning by the House Judiciary Committee last month. A Getty Images photograph revealed that he had written notes of praise to himself after clashes with lawmakers, including California Democrat Eric Swalwell, as they investigated his handling of the Epstein case. The four lines read: “Good fight with Swalwell”, “Hold the line”, “Ignore his attacks”, and “Rise above the next line of (unreadable) attacks”. It looks like the illegible word might be “partisan.”
