The Rams’ 42% chance of finishing No. 1 in the NFC is just 1% better than the Eagles’ 41% chance even though Philadelphia owns the head-to-head tiebreaker of their Week 3 matchup.
However, the Rams’ schedule down the stretch is difficult, especially in Week 12 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. According to Ali Bhanpuri of NFL.com, Tampa and Los Angeles are the only two teams of the 10 with the toughest remaining schedule with a winning record. The Rams also face the Detroit Lions, the Arizona Cardinals twice, the Carolina Panthers and the Seattle Seahawks again.
However, Los Angeles is in the driver’s seat for the division title and possible No. 1 seed, at 8-2. But even if they win all their remaining games, the Rams still need the Eagles to lose at least one game for the head-to-head tiebreaker to become moot.
