According to disclosures made on October 22, Congresswoman Lisa C. McClain’s spouse purchased Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) shares worth between $1,001 and $15,000 on September 11. Shares have gained about 20% since then. Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene also purchased Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) shares worth between $1,001 and $15,000 on October 15.
While Elon Musk received shareholder approval for his hefty pay package, analysts believe he would find it difficult to turn things around at the company amid growing competition from other electric vehicle manufacturers. Tesla’s latest announcement about cheap models shows that the company is losing pricing power amid intense competition. Cheaper models are also expected to negatively impact their automotive margins.

Rowan Street Capital stated the following regarding Tesla, Inc. (NASDAQ:TSLA) in its Letter to investors for the third quarter of 2025:
