Analysts at Morgan Stanley noted that the lowered price target is based on the company’s December 2025 trading volume release. Tradeweb Markets Inc. (NASDAQ:TW) released its December trading volume report on January 7. The company reached $63.0 billion in trading volume during the month. Additionally, average daily volume was $2.8 trillion, reflecting a 27.5% increase from December 2024.

That said, UBS analysts noted that they recognize the recent poor performance, which the company believes is due to concerns about market share and pricing. However, UBS views the recent sell-off as an attractive buying opportunity for investors. This sentiment is driven by the expectation that the company will accelerate its business by the end of 2026. UBS projects 13% revenue growth for the company in 2026, suggesting it is well ahead of its competitors.
